Two people injured in collision involving a charter bus carrying students on U.S. Highway 287 in Fort Worth

Fort Worth, TX. – Two people were hospitalized after being injured after a charter bus carrying students collided with a rock hauler in Fort Worth on Friday afternoon.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the accident happened on U.S. Highway 287 near Bonds Ranch Road at around noon.
The bus was carrying students from Colorado. Two of the 56 people on the bus were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Northwest ISD provided buses to help the Fort Worth police transport the passengers involved in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
