Houston, TX – Two drivers were killed in a collision between two vehicles in Houston on Sunday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
The incident took place in the 6200 block of South Loop East (South Interstate Highway 610 East) at around 7:25 a.m. April 13.
According to the report, a black Lexus IS 250 was traveling west on the eastbound side of the freeway when it collided head-on with an oncoming black BMW 7 Series.
The driver of the Lexus was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The HPD is investigating the accident.

According to the Houston Police Department, the accident happened around 7:22 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 610 South Loop near South Wayside Drive.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles was traveling the wrong way prior to the collision.
Two people were killed in the accident.
Another person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
