Victoria, TX – Four people were injured in a plane crash involving cars at an intersection in Victoria on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Victoria Police Department.
The incident was reported at around 3 p.m. December 11, on Zac Lentz Parkway and Mockingbird Lane.
According to police, a twin-engine Piper Navajo crashed into the intersection and hit three cars, before spitting in half.
The plane had reportedly departed from the Victoria Regional Airport at 9:52 and had been in the air for almost five hours before crashing. The pilot was the only one on board.
Police said four people were injured. One of the patients had serious injuries while the other three suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the incident.
