Austin, TX – Two people have been hospitalized following a collision involving multiple vehicles on Interstate Highway 35 southbound in Austin, according to a social media post by Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS).
The accident happened at about 5:46 p.m. in the 12300 block of North Interstate Highway 35 southbound.
ATCEMS medics and Austun Fire crews responded to the scene and located multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck, involved in the collision.
EMS medics said a total of seven people were injured in the collision with one of the patients pinned inside the wreckage. The pinned party was extricated and the medics transported two adults to Del Seton Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other five patients did not require EMS transport to the hospital.
