McAllen, TX – A U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed in a collision involving two vehicles in McAllen on Tuesday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place in the 3200 block of South Ware Road at about 1:57 p.m. on April 8.
According to the report, the agent was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe when he collided with a GMC pickup.
The Tahoe driver, Alejandro De Luna, 40, of Mission, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
No further details were released.
The incident is under investigation by the McAllen Police Department.
