Goliad, TX. – 30-year-old Aness Anwar has been identified as the man who was seriously injured in a collision on Wednesday in Goliad County.
According to the police, the accident happened on U.S. Highway 59 at Highway 239.
Anwar was driving a small car on U.S. Highway 59 when he was hit by a box truck driven by 39-year-old Afolabi Solageade of Houston.
Anwar, a resident of Victoria, was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to hospital and listed in stable condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
