Fort Worth, TX. – An employee died in a work-related accident at an industrial business in Fort Worth on Friday morning, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.

The incident happened at the Fiber Co, Inc. located along Eden Drive at about 10:30 a.m. November 1.

The victim was by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Keith Edward Varner, 44, of Hurst.

Employees at the company reported that Varner had gone missing from the floor.

Rescue specialists with the Fort Worth Fire Department responded to the factory and located Varner’s body trapped inside one of the machines at the company.

It’s unclear what led up to the accident. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
