Michael Davis was arrested for failure to stop and render aid causing injury or death
Shepherd, TX. – A 63-year-old man died in a collision last week Saturday evening in Shepherd.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 6:50 p.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 3460.
Jonny Fowler of Shepherd was riding a lawn mower towing a small trailer southbound when he was hit by a 2001 Cadillac passenger car also traveling south.
Fowler was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cadillac driver, 54-year-old Michael Davis of Shepherd, was not injured. He was arrested for failure to stop and render aid causing injury or death.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
