Houston, TX – Authorities are investigating a major two-vehicle collision that left one person hospitalized and a car split in half in Houston Friday afternoon

According to Houston police, the accident happened at about 1:10 p.m. on October 18 on a northbound frontage road at 7529 Southwest Freeway.

Police said a Mustang and a white pickup truck were involved in the accident.

One of the cars was split in half following the collision.

Houston police said one person was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
