The accident happened at about 9:34 p.m. in the 12600 block of N Mopac Expressway northbound at Parmer Lane.

Austin, TX – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured after colliding with a vehicle at an intersection in Austin Sunday night, the Austin-Travis County Emergency Services (ATCEMS) said in a social media post.
The accident happened at about 9:34 p.m. in the 12600 block of N Mopac Expressway northbound at Parmer Lane.
According to ATCEMS, EMS medics and Austin Fire responded to the scene and located a vehicle and a motorcycle involved in the collision.
The medics transported an adult patient to St. Joseph’s Round Rock hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
