San Benito, TX. – 47-year-old Tomas Vasquez was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday evening in San Benito.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 8 p.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 732 south of Pennsylvania Avenue.
A Dodge Charger was traveling southbound on Farm-to-Market Road 732 when it veered into the northbound lanes and collided with a Chevrolet Colorado truck and a Dodge Ram traveling northbound.

Vasquez was driving the Colorado and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Ram were transported to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
More details about the accident were not released.
