The accident took place in the 1200 block of E. 42nd Street near Everglade Street at about 8:31 a.m. January 23.

Odessa, TX – Angel Meraz, 19, was seriously injured in a car accident that took place in Odessa on Thursday morning, according to the Odessa Police Department.
The accident took place in the 1200 block of E. 42nd Street near Everglade Street at about 8:31 a.m. January 23.
The OPD reported that a 16-year-old boy was driving a black Ford Mustang eastbound on E. 42nd Street when the vehicle lost traction and swerved into the westbound lanes, where it was hit by a gray Toyota Tundra driven by Debra Harris, 65.
The Mustang then collided with a westbound silver Chevrolet Silverado driven by Febe Morales, 58.
The three drivers had non-life-threatening injuries and were all transported to Medical Center Hospital.
A passenger in the Mustang, identified as Meraz, was taken to MCH with major injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
