Bergen was transported to Medical Arts Hospital in Seminole where he later died

Gaines County, TX. – A Seminole man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday morning in Gaines County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on County Road 307 at around 6:56 a.m.
David Bergen, 32, was driving a 2014 Yamaha XVS650 north on CR 307 when he was struck by a 2021 Nissan Titan that was traveling south on CR 307. Police say the pickup failed to yield the right of way as it attempted to turn left onto CR 304J.
Bergen was transported to Medical Arts Hospital in Seminole, where he later died.
The pickup truck driver, 65-year-old Gilbert Mandel Ochoa of Seagraves, was not injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
