The deadly accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on April 15 in the 700 block of West Loop North.

Houston, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash on West Interstate Highway 610 North in Houston that claimed the life of a female driver early Tuesday morning.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on April 15 in the 700 block of West Loop North.
According to HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose, the female was driving a white Chevrolet Suburban at a high rate of speed southbound on the entrance ramp from I-610 to Interstate Highway 10 when the Chevy sideswiped a gray GMC Sierra pickup truck.
The female driver lost control of the Chevy, struck the concrete barrier on the shoulder of the freeway, and flipped over before sliding. The driver was partially ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the GMC was not injured.
The investigation into the incident is underway.
