The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa with minor injuries

Glasscock County, TX. – Two people were killed in a car accident that happened last week Thursday in Glasscock County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Hillger Road at the intersection of Farm-to-Market 33 (F.M. 33).
A 2021 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on Hillger Road and was turning onto FM 33 when it collided with a 2010 Ford Expedition driven by 80-year-old John Duwain Cypert.
Duwain Cypert was flown to Medical Arts Hospital in Lamesa where he later died.
A passenger in the Ford Expedition, 78-year-old Josephine Linda Cypert, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
