Luke Armstrong Critically Injured in Fatal Bryan Plane Crash at Coulter Field Airport Runway

Bryan, Texas (September 2, 2020) – Three people were killed, and another was critically injured in a plane crash Sunday afternoon in Bryan, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 p.m., August 30, on a runway at Coulter Airfield.

Authorities said a single-engine Piper PA24, with four people on board, crashed, for unknown reasons, on the runway at the airport.

Three people, David Walker, 54, Tamara Walker, 51, and Victoria Walker, 21, were killed in the crash. The deceased victims were from Farmersville, which is about 40 miles (64 kilometers) northeast of Dallas.

Another person, Luke Armstrong, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. He was Victoria’s boyfriend, and he is a senior at Texas A&M studying Construction Science. He is also a member of the Texas A&M Waterski Club.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
