Lamb County, TX – A man was killed and a teen was injured following a head-on collision in Lamb County early Saturday morning.
The deadly collision occurred around 4:45 a.m. on February 15 on US 70, just east of CR 291.
According to the police, a pickup truck traveling westbound on US 70 when, for some reason, it veered into the eastbound lane and collided with a minivan operated by a 15-year-old boy.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to UMC in Lubbock where he later died.
The 15-year-old male was also taken to UMC with non-life-threatening injuries. A 20-year-old passenger was not hurt.
No additional information was provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
