1 Injured in San Angelo Crash on Sherwood Way

San Angelo, TX. - One person was seriously injured in a car crash on Wednesday in San Angelo.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, the crash occurred on Sherwood Way.

A maroon Chrysler 300 was traveling westbound on Sherwood Way when it turned left and collided with a white Ford Expedition traveling eastbound.

The impact sent the Ford Expedition off the roadway where it struck a traffic signal pole.

The driver of the Ford Expedition sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Chrysler was not injured.

More details on the crash were not provided.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
