Sherman, TX – The Police have released the names of two people who died in a wrong-way crash in Sherman early Friday morning.
The deadly two-vehicle accident happened around 12:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 75, on February 21.
Police said 24-year-old Wyatt Gary was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the highway when he struck an oncoming vehicle operated by 66-year-old Teresa Martin.
Gary died at the accident scene while Martin was airlifted to hospital where she later died.
Part of southbound Highway 75 was closed for a few hours as crews worked at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.

Sherman, TX. – Two people were killed in a car accident that happened early Friday morning in Sherman.
According to the police, the fatal collision happened around 12:30 a.m. on Interstate 75.
A vehicle was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes and collided with another car.
One driver was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Another driver was transported to the hospital where he later died while receiving treatment.
The identities of the drivers were not disclosed.
The Sherman Police Critical Accident Investigation Team is investigating the accident.
