A backseat passenger in the Expedition was pronounced dead at the accident scene

Navasota. TX. – A woman was killed in a car accident that left several others injured in Navasota on Wednesday morning.
The fatal collision happened around 5:51 a.m. on Texas 105 at FM 362.
A Ford Ranger was stopped at the stop sign on FM 362 when it failed to yield the right-of-way and was struck by a Ford Expedition traveling eastbound on Texas 105.
The Expedition continued into the westbound lanes and struck a Chevrolet pickup truck.
A backseat passenger in the Expedition was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the Expedition was transported to CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan with serious injuries.
The front seat passenger of the Expedition was transported to Scott & White Hospital in College Station with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford Ranger and the driver of the Chevrolet truck were both transported to CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
