One Killed in Fort Worth Auto-Pedestrian Accident on I-35W (South Freeway)

Fort Worth, Texas (February 3, 2020) – One person was killed early Monday morning in an auto-pedestrian accident in Fort Worth, police said.

The accident happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 900 block of South Freeway (I-35W) north of the bridge over Rosedale.

Police said the pedestrian was crossing the highway when he was hit by a white Jeep Cherokee.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 West at Rosedale.

The police are investigating the crash.
