Two Hospitalized after Temple Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-35

Temple, Texas (July 22, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that took place on Sunday afternoon in Temple, according to police.

The crash occurred at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday, July 21, on I-35 near Nugent Avenue.

Authorities said two 18-wheelers and six cars were involved in the crash. The impact caused at least one big rig to catch fire.

Fourteen people were involved in the collision and two of them were taken to the hospital for treatment.

No further details were released. The DPS is investigating the wreck.
