3-Year-Old Killed in Wichita Falls Two-Vehicle Crash at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Wichita Street

Wichita Falls, Texas (July 29, 2021) – According to the police, the 3-year-old who was injured in a wrong-way crash last week Wednesday in Wichita Falls has died.

The child was pronounced dead on Monday, July 26.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m., July 21, in the area of N. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Wichita Street.

Police said a Charger was traveling the wrong way on a one-way street when it failed to stop as it turned southbound onto N. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and was hit by a gray Audi Q7.

The 3-year-old was on the left passenger side of the Charger and was not secured in a child safety seat.

The child and their mother were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

 The child succumbed to the injuries around 9:19 p.m., on Monday, July 26, at the Cooks Children’s Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation.
