Houston, TX. – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision involving a Metro bus in Houston on Thursday afternoon, according to the Houston Fire Department.
The accident took place on the Katy Freeway at about 3:30 p.m. December 19.
According to the report, a vehicle tried to change lanes in the HOV lanes and collided with another vehicle.
The impact pushed one of the vehicles into the main lanes and it was struck by other vehicles.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At least two other parties were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
