Angela Moreno ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in Austin Crash on E Howard Lane

Austin, Texas (January 19, 2023) – The woman who died after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in North Austin has been identified as Angela Marie Moreno, 26.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 3:05 a.m. Saturday, January 14, in the 300 block of E. Howard Lane.

Police said Moreno was standing in the inside traffic lane when she was hit by a pickup truck.

Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup stopped at the scene and was cooperative.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
