At Least One Killed in Rusk County Two-Vehicle Crash on Carthage Highway (US 79)

Rusk County, Texas (August 14, 2021) – According to the authorities, at least one person was killed on Friday in a two-vehicle crash in Rusk County.

The fatal crash happened on August 13, in the 6000 block of US Highway 79 East (Carthage Highway).

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the fatal wreck; however, they didn’t say how many people were killed in the crash.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
