Cyclist Killed in Houston Bicycle Accident on Westheimer Parkway near Freedom Park
Houston, Texas (March 16, 2023) – A bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in Houston, according to Houston police.
The deadly crash happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 in the 1800 block of Westheimer Parkway near Freedom Park.
Houston police said a woman was riding a bicycle on Westheimer Parkway when she was hit by an SUV.
The woman died in the crash. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
