Charles Grisham ID’d as Man Killed in Ector County Crash at FM 866 and FM 2020

Ector County, Texas (May 28, 2022) – The man who was killed Friday morning following a rear-end accident in Ector County has been identified.

Charles Grisham, 44, died in the crash that happened at the intersection of FM 866 and FM 2020 on Friday, May 27.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a truck tractor hauling a trailer had stopped in the southbound lane of FM 866 and was waiting to turn eastbound onto FM 2020 when it was struck from behind by a vehicle, driven by Grisham.

Grisham, a resident of Odessa, died at the scene.

The truck driver did not suffer any injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
