Man Critically Injured in SW Houston Bicycle Accident at Houston Avenue and Winter Street

Houston, Texas (November 21, 2023) – A cyclist was critically injured on Monday in a hit-and-run crash in Southwest Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 9:15 p.m., November 20, at the intersection of Houston Avenue and Winter Street.

Police said a man was riding his bicycle southbound when he was struck by a white sedan.

The impact sent the man flying. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The sedan driver fled the scene after the accident and the authorities are looking for them.

No other information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
