42-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Eastex Freeway in Houston

42-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59)

Houston, Texas (March 11, 2023) – A 42-year-old man was killed on March 4 in a motorcycle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:25 p.m., in the 3600 block of Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59).

Police said a white GMC 2500 pickup truck was traveling southbound on the freeway, had a flat tire, and was attempting to pull onto the emergency shoulder from the exit lane.

A black Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended the GMC.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The GMC driver remained at the scene and did not show signs of intoxication.

The police are investigating the crash.
