Jose Rojas-Resendiz, Paula Rojas, and Two Children Killed in Hamilton Two-Vehicle Crash on US 281

Hamilton, Texas (June 6, 2022) – Four people, including two children, were killed Thursday afternoon in a head-on collision near Hamilton, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 2:43 p.m., June 2, on US 281.

DPS said Jose Navor Rojas-Resendiz, 45, of Bulverde, was driving a 2005 Ford F-150 southbound on the highway when he drifted into the northbound lane and crashed head-on into a 2022 Kenworth Truck Tractor.

The Ford became fully engulfed in flames after the collision.

Rojas-Resendiz and his passenger, 35-year-old Paula Marie Rojas, were killed in the crash.

Two children, including a 1-year-old girl, were ejected from the Ford and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck tractor was treated for injuries and is expected to be ok.

No other details were provided.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
