Keonna R. Horner Killed, Brian L. Coles, Sean Coles and 11-Year-old Injured in Panola County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH-315

Panola County, Texas (April 21, 2020) – A woman was killed, and three other people were injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Panola County, east of Clayton, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash occurred around 3:23 p.m., April 20, on SH-315.

DPS said Keonna R. Horner, 34, of North Little Rock, AR, was driving a 2020 Kia westbound on the highway when she crossed the centerline, for unknown reasons, into oncoming traffic and hit a 2007 Toyota Sequoia driven by Brian L. Coles, 71, of Houston.

Horner was taken to UT Health – Carthage, where she later died.

Brian was taken to UT Health – Carthage, where he was treated and released.

Sean Coles, 39, of Houston and an 11-year-old boy, who were passengers in the Toyota, were taken to UT Health – Carthage in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
