Kolin Walker Killed in San Marcos Motorcycle Accident on Post Road near Bobcat Drive

San Marcos, Texas (July 13, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident Sunday afternoon in San Marcos, according to authorities.

The deadly accident occurred around 4:47 p.m. July 12, in the 1600 block of Post Road, west of Interstate 35, and just north of Bobcat Drive.

Authorities said 23-year-old Kolin Walker was riding a black 2004 Suzuki motorcycle southbound above the posted speed limit when he crashed into a 2010 Volvo S40 that had pulled out from a parking lot at Mosscliff Apartments to head northbound.

Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
