Lauren Davenport Victim in Fatal Tyler Pedestrian Accident on Highway 64 West

Tyler, Texas (October 19, 2019) – A woman was killed last month in a hit-and-run accident in Tyler, according to the DPS.

The crash happened at about 11:00 p.m. on September 29, in the 11600 block of Highway 64 West.

DPS said Lauren Davenport, 22, was walking home from work when she was hit by multiple vehicles.

Davenport was first hit by a westbound vehicle that didn’t have its headlights on. That vehicle fled the scene.

Davenport ended up in the middle of the highway and she was hit by three other vehicles.

Davenport was killed in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
