Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on North Abbott Road in East Bexar County

58-Year-Old Man Killed in East Bexar County 18-Wheeler Crash on North Abbott Road

Bexar County, Texas (October 13, 2020) – A 58-year-old man was killed Monday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in far East Bexar County, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 p.m., October 12, at a residence in the 400 block of North Abbott Road.

Deputies said an 18-wheeler was dropping off materials at the residence when it struck the man.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the 18-wheeler got back into the vehicle and fled the scene.

The deputies are looking for the driver of the 18-wheeler.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
