Man Seriously Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Rigsby Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (March 18, 2021) – A man in his 40s was seriously injured Tuesday night after being hit by a car in San Antonio’s East Side, according to police.

The accident occurred around 11:00 p.m., March 16, on Rigsby Avenue near Wayne Drive.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
