Rider Dies in San Antonio Motorcycle Accident on Highway 151 near Military Drive

San Antonio, California (July 2, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed Monday morning in a traffic accident in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The deadly crash happened on Highway 151 near Military Drive Monday, July 1.

Authorities said a van was traveling on the roadway when its driver failed to stop at a stop sign and hit the rider who was turning left from Military Drive West, onto the westbound access road.

The motorcyclist who was wearing a helmet at the time was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of relatives.

The van driver did not stop and fled the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
