1 Dead in Northeast Loop 820 Crash in Fort Worth

Fort Worth, Texas (June 6, 2019) – One person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident in Fort Worth, police said.

The tragic wreck, which was reported shortly after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, happened in the 3200 block of 820 eastbound.

According to the police, an 18-wheeler collided with a red Chevy Corvette for an unknown reason on Northeast Loop 820.

One person died in the crash. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

The crash caused the closure of eastbound express lanes on Northeast Loop 820 for several hours.

No further details were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
