One Killed in Gregg County 18-Wheeler Crash on Interstate 20

Gregg County, Texas – One person was killed on Wednesday in an 18-wheeler crash in Gregg County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened on Interstate 20, at mile marker 583, just south of Liberty City.

Authorities said an 18-wheeler rear-ended another 18-wheeler in the westbound lanes.

The driver who rear-ended the other 18-wheeler was killed in the crash. That 18-wheeler later caught fire.

The crash closed all the westbound lanes of the highway.

The crash remains under investigation.
