Two Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at 98th Street and Wayne Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (January 24, 2023) – Two people were injured on Monday in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash was reported around 2:33 p.m., January 23, in the area of 98th Street and Wayne Avenue.

Police said the crash involved a white truck and a semi-truck.

A gas meter was hit during the crash.

Two people sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of 98th Street.

The crash remains under investigation.
