Man Hit, Killed by Two Vehicles on East Freeway in Houston

Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on East Freeway (IH 10)

Houston, Texas (March 20, 2023) – A man was fatally hit by two vehicles early Thursday morning in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened around 3:45 a.m., March 16, in the 5300 block of East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10).

Police said a white Mack tractor-trailer truck was traveling westbound on the main lanes of the freeway when it struck a man in the main lanes. The man was then struck by a westbound gray Dodge Challenger.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene and were determined not to be impaired and were questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
