One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Knickerbocker Road and Palo Duro Drive in San Angelo

1 Hospitalized after San Angelo Multi-Vehicle Crash at Knickerbocker Road and Palo Duro Drive

San Angelo, Texas (November 21, 2019) – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday evening at a San Angelo intersection, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just after 6:00 p.m. November 20, at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Palo Duro Drive.

Police said a black Dodge Ram was traveling on Knickerbocker Road when it merged onto the turning lane to turn left onto Palo Duro Drive.

A single-cab blue Chevy was traveling on the right lane on Knickerbocker Road, and the driver failed to see that the black Dodge was attempting to turn. Traffic on the fast lane had stopped due to the train passing through at the next light.

The Chevy then hit the black Dodge. The force of the impact pushed both vehicles into another Dodge Ram that was at the stop sign.

One person was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the black Dodge was cited for failing to yield the right of way, making a left-hand turn.

The crash remains under investigation.
