Scott Remmenga ID’d as Man Killed in Austin Motorcycle Accident on Highway 290 at Parmer Lane

Austin, Texas (September 20, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was killed in a wrong-way crash last week in Austin has been identified as Scott Remmenga, 54, according to the authorities.

The crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. September 13, on Highway 290 service road at Parmer Lane.

Police said Remmenga was riding a Honda Silverwing motorcycle westbound on the service road when a white 2016 Toyota Tundra which was parallel to the motorcycle, tried to turn left from the wrong lane and hit the bike.

Remmenga was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center where he later died.

The Tundra driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
