Several People Hospitalized after Houston Crash on Allen Parkway between Montrose Boulevard and Taft Street

Houston, Texas (October 4, 2022) – Several people were hospitalized after a wrong-way, head-on crash near Fourth Ward in Houston on Monday night, according to the Houston Police Department.

The wreck occurred at about 9:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, on Allen Parkway between Montrose Boulevard and Taft Street.

According to a witness, a black vehicle was traveling the wrong way on Allen Parkway when it collided with a white SUV.

Houston Police said several patients were transported to a hospital in unknown conditions.

All eastbound lanes were closed during the investigation.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
