Six Injured in Marshall Two-Vehicle Crash on Karnack Highway near Williams Road

Marshall, Texas (December 22, 2021) – Six people, including three Marshall Independent School District students, were injured Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Marshall, according to the police.

The crash happened around 5:00 p.m., December 19, in the 3400 block of Karnack Highway near Williams Road.

Police said a four-door Chevy was traveling eastbound on the highway when it lost control and slid sideways into a westbound four-door Nissan.

Three juvenile males, including the adult male driver of the Chevy, were ejected from the vehicle. A fourth unconscious male was found in the front passenger seat of the Chevy.

The Nissan driver and the front passenger, both women, were conscious and alert after the crash. The driver had to be freed because she was trapped in the vehicle.

All six people were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
