Javier Canchola Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35 near Parmer Lane

Austin, Texas (March 24, 2022) – The man who was fatally hit by a vehicle on March 14 in north Austin has been identified as Javier Eduardo Canchola, 37, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:47 p.m., in the 13000 block of northbound I-35, near Parmer Lane.

Police said Canchola was attempting to run across the highway when he was struck by a vehicle.

Canchola was taken to Round Rock Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on March 15.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
