One Killed in Harrison County Plane Crash on Waldrons Ferry Road near FM 968

Harrison County, Texas (March 10, 2019) – One person died in a fatal plane crash Saturday evening in Harrison County.
According to a report by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened at about 6:30 p.m. March 9 on Waldrons Ferry Road near FM 968 .
The sheriff’s department said the small plane had one person on board when it crashed into a wooden area in Hallsville.
The unidentified occupant of the plane died in the wreck.
Details on what may have caused the crash were not immediately available.
The DPS and FAA are investigating the incident.
