2 Injured in Interstate 37 Crash in San Antonio
San Antonio, Texas (February 17, 2019) – Two people were injured Sunday morning in a traffic crash in San Antonio, authorities said.
The wreck was reported at around 9:00 a.m. on Interstate 37 and Hardy Road.
According to police, an 18-wheeler was hit from behind by a minivan. Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated the people who were trapped inside the minivan.
The driver of the minivan was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center in stable condition while a 40-year-old man was airlifted to University Hospital in critical condition.
The crash caused the closure of the highway for at least three hours during the investigation.
