Nicholas Peralta Dies Days after Fort Worth Construction Accident on East Loop 820

Fort Worth, Texas (March 14, 2019) – A man who was hospitalized after he was involved in a construction accident on Friday morning in Fort Worth has succumbed to his injuries, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. March 8, at a construction site in the 300 block of Northeast Loop 820.
Officials said an object fell off a crane at the site and hit the man, identified as Nicholas Peralta, 28, of Lewisville. He was at the site where workers were building a bridge.
Peralta was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 12:21 a.m. Wednesday, March 13.
The OSHA officials have not released further details on the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
