12-Year-Old Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Aspen Drive in Killeen 

12-Year-Old Injured in Killeen Pedestrian Accident on Aspen Drive at Chantz Drive

Killeen, Texas (January 28, 2021) – A 12-year-old was injured Tuesday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in Killeen, according to police.

The accident happened on January 26, at the intersection of Chantz Drive and Aspen Drive.

According to a preliminary investigation, a black Dodge Challenger was traveling westbound on Aspen Drive, approaching the intersection when it failed to yield right of way and struck the juvenile who was walking in a crosswalk on Aspen Drive.

The Challenger fled the scene after the accident.

The juvenile was taken to Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights with minor injuries.

The police are looking for the Challenger driver.
